These pictures speak their own language. The consequences of today’s refugee policies in Australia and the US are only one step removed from the Nazi atrocities. The last step is the “Final Solution”. We are not far off under Turnbull and Dutton.

A picture says a thousand words. I’m ashamed that
our country is part of this shame.

So, when will the wife of our Prime Minister, Lucy Turnbull visit a detention centre?

Our shame has to include the incarceration of Japanese Americans during the Was, and the policy of taking away the Native American children earlier in our history. When will it end?

Looks to me like Trump has been reading your blog. We’ve been wondering where all his demonic notions come from.

We (all people) have gone way too low already. 😦
All of this makes me angry AND it makes my heart hurt. 😦
Excellent blog, Gerard. I wish all the people of the world could see the photos and read what you said.

The dying Afghani on Nauru has been allowed to come to Australia to die. Thank goodness for tiny mercies.

Heinrich Dutton won’t bring the kids here, in fact he’s heartless enough to send them back to their home countries without their parents.

I see Melina is into embarrassing her husband Adolf with none too subtle clothing choices.

I ‘liked’ your post, Gerard, but it isn’t one to like really. This is a massive blot on Australia’s history: a shameful thing. I cannot bear to see Dutton’s face on TV. And it’s something both of the major parties have on their conscience, so I don’t see anything being resolved any time soon. So depressing and distressing.
