Glad you liked it too. I came upon this composer just by chance on someone’s blog.
Serious music and beautiful. The soul of Finland.

Yes, it has a haunting quality. I find that in Sibelius so often – ecstatic phrases followed by mistrusting ones. Maybe it’s the climate… Thanks for sharing it!

The same to you, Ivonne…and reasonable health for all. Little Milo just had his chicken wing.

I’ve not heard of that composer, but the music’s lovely. I’ll have another listen later tonight, while having my traditional cheeses, flatbread, and herring. Never mind Christmas cookies — now we’re down to the good stuff!
Happy New Year to you, Helvi, and Milo. I hope it’s a good one, and that you all find new pleasures in the coming months. (I’d wish that your neighbors behave, too, but — shhhhh! We don’t want to wake them by talking about them!)

Yes, Linda. Good stuff always includes herrings and flat bread. Glad you reminded us.
The neighbours are all somewhere else. We had the entire compound to ourselves. Heaven!
All the best to you, and I look forward to all your evocative words and images.

Trump might well turn out a horror show. He seems so unpredictable. The blond haired entourage that follows him, and his view on refugees. A race to the bottom.
