Flight JQ27 was diverted to Bali, where the six men – identified as Bradley Beecham, Brett Eldridge, Michael Matthews, Mark Rossiter, Lynmin Waharai and Ricky William – were escorted off the plane by police.
Will our PM Malcolm Turnbull now get up in front of the TV and warn us about our Aussie born and bred terrorists? Totally radicalised by Christian culture and KB lager.

One can just imagine if those people would have had an Middle Eastern or Islamic background.

“There was blood everywhere.” Yet, the media seems to have kept it pretty sedate. That’s ok by me, but why the hysteria when it involves people with a darker skin?

I’ve been saddened by the recently reported shooting of a therapist who was with a young fellow with autism. He had his hands firmly up and was trying to calm the autistic boy. The #*^+@ cop shot the man, luckily “only ” in the leg. I’ll bet the man (with dark skin) was scared that his time on earth was up.

Yes, Yvonne. We too saw the shooting on TV. I think that they shoot first and think later.

strange how only the muslim’s get notoriety when there is terrorism all around the world in countries races and religions , it’s a shame how christina grimmie’s killer was pronounced mentally ill , while if he was a muslim , they would straight on attack the religion islam for his headless actions , the world angers on and well should anger on so called ” islamic ” extremists , but no one is bothered when Isreal sends drone strikes over innocent peoples homes in palestine ..no one cares about whats going on in syria , no one has even heard of innocent muslim’s being captured from their home’s and being brutally slaughtered by bhudhist’s in burma , and no one has absolutely heard of terrorism attacks on yemen …when has the world become so heartless?

Or, how Australia and its heartless governments terrorises refugees to the point of self harm, including self-immolation and…children too. For years on end. Just watch this coming Monday’s ABC’s Four corners!
In Holland, with this year alone 42 000 refugees have applied for residency. Two Dutch journalists have made available an app whereby people can actually experience what refugees go through when applying for refugee status.

Very true, Gerard. Prejudice and fear make nasty presumptuous bedfellows. There are plenty of us, though, who are aware of what’s going on in Burma, Syria, Yemen and Palestine and we care. I see bad behaviour in many people of all religions and none – and some wonderful behaviour too. We must just keep working on promoting the latter.

You could not get a worse example in how we treat boat people. Locked up for years on Islands with no hope of entry into Australia, ever! New Zealand and Canada are willing to take those refugees but Australia is not allowing this because the refugees might then use it as a ‘backdoor’ in gaining entry into Australia. They have an option to go back to Iraq or Afghanistan. Some option!

well the options are absolutely ridiculous , but maybe Australia might have some wisdom behind this .. i mean if new zealand and canada are taking them , Australia is a country with a good reputation , maybe the’re trying to preserve it’s safety

Yes, Hilary. You can imagine how some people behave in places like Thailand or Bali. One wonders what the locals must think. The airline is seeking compensation from the six men.
Hundreds of passengers missing connecting flights, friends waiting at airports!

I did not know of this incident. Makes one scratch their head. People are going nuts in the name of religion and some people are just plain going nuts- like those over here in the states that think a big mouth TV reality star is going to take back America. Take back from whom? I had no idea our country went anywhere or that some other country was running it.

I don’t know what to make of Trump, Ivonne. Thousands are waving flags and letting balloons in the sky, and all want the US great again. It all seems so voodoo-like and manic. I saw someone foaming at the mouth while holding up a placard with ‘Trump’ is Messiah.
I just want to have some peace and am grateful for Milo to look up and wag his tail.

You are right about the political scene of the GPO and Trump. People are so easily deluded. The Donald has yet to release his tax statement. Talk about a crook and a liar. Haha.

I think anything with the name Donald seems doomed. In Germany a shooting near a MacDonald take away hamburger shop took place.
I think there must be stuff in those MacDonald burgers that make people go raving mad. I reckon when you look close at Donald Trump, his face resembles a hamburger with that hair on top the colour of the bread bun. Just squint your eyes a bit. You would swear he looks like a burger with his teeth being the cheese and his lips, the sauce oozing out from the beef patties.
He resembles a quarter pounder. I feel.
