Yes, that is about the size of it. All the young kids and lots of adults would rather text than talk. They say it take less energy. I think it is a ridiculous fad.

Texting is alright if it used English, but…it seems to develop a language of its own. Perhaps that’s how it is. I am old and cranky about the young having it all in front of them. The excitement of youth versus a staid and stale man, nose and ear hair sprouting but not much more. The morning glory in retreat almost gone.

Like the images. The incidence of dislocated thumbs shows a sharp increase.

Just read an article that problems with necks and spines are developing from the perpetual head down position. Look up, kids!!

How long did it take you to post 600 times, Gerard …? – and where was I ?!

    • gerard oosterman Says:

About six years. You were there, but I wasn’t looking. It’s my fault.

No, alas – I wasn’t. I didn’t understand about the blogosphere and its addictiveness until about 10 months back (or 2 after I’d started blogging). 😀
You are a restrained and non-pushy person. Would that the same could be said of moi …

My childhood phone was the same as your dad’s. I thought it was thrilling.
